Tradition meets quality in a South Tyrolean inn

We are more than an exceptional restaurant near Klausen. We are a “South Tyrolean Inn”. Over 35 committed landlords and landladies have one common goal: to nurture and preserve South Tyrol’s original and traditional guest house culture. Where hospitality, tradition and quality and not empty words but pure passion, with well-being is predestined. Our philosophy emphasises distinctive dishes that are original and authentic.

Our fine wines are made from grapes grown on the best soils in the surrounding area. The wines that accompany our delicious meals are predominantly from South Tyrol. And while we’re talking about ‘home’ – enjoy a delicious piece of South Tyrol in a magical ambience, and in our restaurant enjoy one thing above all else: genuine culinary delights and a feeling of being right at home!

Our restaurant kitchen is open

from 12:00 to 13:45

and 19:00 to 20:45.

For anyone who arrives after the kitchen has closed, we are happy to pamper you in the afternoon with coffee, pastries and refreshing drinks.

We are closed on Thursday. Tip for our day visitors: reservation is recommended on Sundays.

Anyone who spends a bit of time in the Fonteklaus wants to enjoy the unique panoramic views. The fantastic location of our manor house enchants. Unsurpassably idyllic too are the lush surroundings around the Fonteklaus and the terrace which provides superb views to the picturesque slopes and mountain summits in Isarco Valley. Sun on a low-flame setting? We capture every single ray for you. In spring and autumn re-energise in the warmth on our sun terrace on the south side of our hotel. A lovely place to linger. Just one little tempting pastry can sweeten relaxing moments in Ansitz Fonteklaus. Enjoy indulgence!
