Inn Ansitz Fonteklaus
Relaxing holidays in the Isarco Valley
The Inn Ansitz Fonteklaus is located on a sunny hillside in the Isarco Valley, at an altitude of 900 meters above sea level, near the medieval artists’ town of Chiusa. Here, the view embraces a magnificent natural scenery with green meadows, deep forests and rugged mountain peaks. Beautiful hiking trails lead right past the historic building into the pristine mountain regions of the Isarco Valley. Thanks to its central location in the heart of South Tyrol, the Inn Ansitz Fonteklaus above Chiusa is a perfect destination for your hiking or biking holiday.
Behind the house, there is a small chapel that our guests may visit for a short prayer and to rest during a hike, or even to celebrate wedding anniversaries.
Living in a historical setting: guest rooms at the Inn Ansitz Fonteklaus
The inn above Chiusa is a former manor house (= Ansitz), looking back on a long history. 10 comfortably furnished guest rooms have been skilfully integrated into the ancient building. This way, characteristic holiday accommodations have been created, offering you a comfortable place to live during your stay. You may book the rooms with breakfast or half board. Besides classic double rooms, during your vacation in Isarco Valley you may also choose among cosy 3-bed rooms and two junior suites.
Bed & breakfast or half board
During your holiday in the Isarco Valley, you may book the accommodations at the Inn Ansitz Fonteklaus with breakfast or half board. Wake up to a hearty breakfast with home-produced jams, homemade nut bread and many other savoury South Tyrolean delicacies. Full of fresh energy, you may then venture out to your leisure activities in the mountains of South Tyrol. In the evening, kitchen chef Andreas Gfader will serve you a delicious 4-course menu. During the day, you may enjoy your stay on the 2 large terraces or on the manicured lawn that extends in front of a beautifully located natural swimming pond.
Beautiful attractions in the surroundings
